"extDB3: Error with Database Connection"

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I get the error above on my centos machine, I've tested my mission on my own windows environment and its fine,I've tested the credentials of MySQL and found they're correct, Ive installed the things asked on the extdb installation page, I get no logs from extdb and I rarely get any from arma 3 .

I get that with no logs its gonna be a lot more difficult  any help is appreciated,

edit : this is the bottom section of my console output https://pastebin.com/NN8x2pMf

thanks

Follow this tutorial but replace his life server and mission file with yours. Use his downloads.

I had a similar issue in the past on my windows box and followed it and it worked.

Im on TS if you want to speak.

Ok now show me your description.ext from your mission file. Also show your extdb logs.

I have no extdb logs, none are being created

ive checked the layout of my db also and it looks fine

Hmm that's weird, do you have multiple extdb folders? It looks like your loading extdb but you may be looking in the wrong place.

I'm familiar with linux, we could TV to your PC and use putty or whatever you use.

Solved, the issue was that extDB3 required 32-bit binaries in order to load. 64 bit binaries were installed.
