  3. Hi, we are opening recruitment for helper if you would like to join our helper team you just have to make a post with the following information, it will be reviewed and an answer will be given within 1-2 days: Tell us about yourself: What skills do you possess that you feel will help you do well as a helper? Have you ever been banned/kicked ( if yes please specify why )? Your date of birth: / / / What's your experience with SQF and SQL languages, or other sorts of Arma related development? What is the first thing you would like to change about the forums(Nothing? then NA)? Do you have Discord? Do you have any problems working with other staff members? Why do you want to be a Helper? How would you deal with someone being rude towards members? If you were to become a helper, would a moderator position be appealing to you as well in the future?

  8. Rules of the forums: 1. Rudeness and belittling language are not okay. Your tone should match the way you'd talk in person with someone you respect and whom you want to respect you. If you don't have time to say something politely, just leave it for someone who does. 2. Be welcoming, be patient, and assume good intentions. Don't expect new users to know all the rules — they don't. And be patient while they learn. If you're here for help, make it as easy as possible for others to help you. Everyone here is volunteering, and no one responds well to demands for help. 3. Don’t request scripts. This is not a place where we will provide any requested scripts, nor will we write any code for you. Altis Life RPG is a support community for developers and server owners. We cannot teach you to script for ArmA, but we will help you debug your own setup and code. 4. Don't be a jerk. These are just a few examples. If you see them, report them: a. Name-calling. Focus on the post, not the person. That includes terms that feel personal even when they're applied to posts (like "lazy", "ignorant", or "whiny"). b. Bigotry of any kind. Language likely to offend or alienate individuals or groups based on race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, etc. will not be tolerated. At all. (Those are just a few examples; when in doubt, just don't.) c. Inappropriate language or attention. Avoid vulgar terms and anything sexually suggestive. d. Harassment and bullying. If you see a hostile interaction, report it. If it keeps up, disengage — we'll handle it. If something needs staff attention, you can message any staff member. 5. Speak in English. Posts in a different language will be deleted, and topics will be closed. (Besides the designated sections) 6. No selling code or services. This is a place for volunteering your support. If you have a scripting company and want to advertize with us, please contact an admin for more information General rules: Be respectful to other members Must speak English, posts in a different language will be deleted and topics will be closed. (Besides the designated sections) Do not message admins for help related to Altis-Life & Tanoa Life or anything from Arma 3. Only contact us about website issues. *** Do not use the chat box to ask for help, search for an existing topic or create one. Do not post link to external website. *** ** Do not spam, other website or personal social media activity, except for give source or credit, DONT TRY TO BYPASS THAT RULE WITH FAKE HELPING REASON. *** STOP! 10. Difficulty: Easy Author: alex010 Source: AltisLifeRPG (Old forum) Hello, this was made for ALI (Altis Life Italia Official). Don't know if the spawnMenu.sqf changed in 4.0.0, if not, this will work for this version too, otherwise adapt it. So many times for mistake or whatever pressing Enter while dead makes you respawn. This will make a dialog appear requesting a confirmation. in \core\fn_initCiv.sqf - line 22 modify: [] call life_fnc_spawnMenu; to: [false] spawn life_fnc_spawnMenu; in \core\fn_initCop.sqf - line 28 modify: [] call life_fnc_spawnMenu; to: [false] spawn life_fnc_spawnMenu; in \core\fn_initMedic.sqf - line 18 modify: [] call life_fnc_spawnMenu; to: [false] spawn life_fnc_spawnMenu; in \dialog\deathscreen.h - line 44 modify: onButtonClick = "closeDialog 0; life_respawned = true; [] call life_fnc_spawnMenu;"; to: onButtonClick = "[true] spawn life_fnc_spawnMenu;"; in \dialog\functions\spawnMenu.sqf make a backup of the file and use this instead: /* File: fn_spawnMenu.sqf Author: Bryan "Tonic" Boardwine Modified by: Al Morise(Sink) Description: Initializes the spawn point selection menu. */ private["_spCfg", "_sp", "_ctrl", "_action", "_bool", "_quit", "_wait"]; disableSerialization; _bool = [_this, 0, false, [false]] call BIS_fnc_param; _quit = false; _wait = false; if(_bool) then { _action = [format["Are you sure to respawn?"], "Respawn confirmation", "No", "Yes"] call BIS_fnc_guiMessage; if(_action) then { _quit = true; }; _wait = true; } else { _wait = true; }; waitUntil { _wait }; if(_quit) exitWith {}; if(_bool) then { closeDialog 0; life_respawned = true; }; if(life_is_arrested) exitWith { [] call life_fnc_respawned; }; if(life_respawned) then { [] call life_fnc_respawned; }; cutText["", "BLACK FADED"]; 0 cutFadeOut 9999999; if(!(createDialog "life_spawn_selection")) exitWith { [false] spawn life_fnc_spawnMenu; }; (findDisplay 38500) displaySetEventHandler["keyDown", "_this call life_fnc_displayHandler"]; _spCfg = [playerSide] call life_fnc_spawnPointCfg; _ctrl = ((findDisplay 38500) displayCtrl 38510); { _ctrl lnbAddRow[(_spCfg select _ForEachIndex) select 1, (_spCfg select _ForEachIndex) select 0, ""]; _ctrl lnbSetPicture[[_ForEachIndex, 0], (_spCfg select _ForEachIndex) select 2]; _ctrl lnbSetData[[_ForEachIndex, 0], (_spCfg select _ForEachIndex) select 0]; } foreach _spCfg; _sp = _spCfg select 0; //First option is set by default [((findDisplay 38500) displayCtrl 38502),1,0.1,getMarkerPos (_sp select 0)] call life_fnc_setMapPosition;life_spawn_point = _sp;ctrlSetText[38501,format["%2: %1",_sp select 1,localize "STR_Spawn_CSP"]]; Steam: [PKS] Sink
  11. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Difficulty: Easy Author: Jason_000 Source: Old Altis Life RPG( SreenShot as atach file) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hey this is my first post so I know it probably could be done better but this works fine for me anyways the script allows cops to buy a loadout instead of having to buy their gear each time. Also this works on 4.0 for other versions im sure you will probably have to change FETCH_CONST to some other variable which I am not sure of Ok first for this I will use the mxloadout which is set to level 3, put this into your core/functions folder and name it fn_mxloadout.sqf. #include <macro.h> /* File: mxloadout.sqf Author: Jason_000 Description: Sets mx loadout to the player */ if (playerSide == independent) exitWith {hint "You must be a cop to purchase this!"}; //cops only if (playerSide == civilian) exitWith {hint "You must be a cop to purchase this!"}; //cops only if((FETCH_CONST(life_coplevel)) < 3) exitWith { hint "You are not the right level!"}; //level 3+ /* { exitWith { hint "You are not the right level!"}; //level 3+ }; */ if (life_cash > 29999) then //30k { life_cash = life_cash - 30000; //30k hintSilent "30000 has been removed for this kit"; sleep 2; hintSilent "Please wait while your kit is being assembled, this may take a while"; //Removes all items the player has (Not Y Menu) RemoveAllWeapons player; { player removeMagazine _x; } forEach (magazines player); removeUniform player; removeVest player; removeBackpack player; removeHeadGear player; sleep 2; //Arma id for weapons, clothes, ... player addUniform "U_B_CombatUniform_mcam"; player addVest "V_Chestrig_blk"; player addBackpack "B_Bergen_blk"; player addHeadGear "H_Beret_blk_POLICE"; player addWeapon "arifle_MX_F"; //lethal player addMagazine "30Rnd_65x39_caseless_mag"; player addMagazine "30Rnd_65x39_caseless_mag"; player addMagazine "30Rnd_65x39_caseless_mag"; player addWeapon "hgun_P07_snds_F"; //tazer player addMagazine "16Rnd_9x21_Mag"; player addMagazine "16Rnd_9x21_Mag"; player addMagazine "16Rnd_9x21_Mag"; //Virtual items, who knows might be used... -check config_master player addItem "redgull"; player assignItem "redgull"; player addItem "tbacon"; player assignItem "tbacon"; // hintSilent "You are all kitted up and ready to stop crime, good luck officer!"; } else { hintSilent "Sorry you do not have 30000 for this loadout"; }; Then you need to go to your functions.h file and add class mxloadout {}; under the functions class. Ingame to buy them I used a scroll wheel menu so for that just add this enableSimulation false; this allowDamage false; this addAction ["MX Loadout", life_fnc_mxloadout]; to an NPC. After that you should be done, and for more kits basically repeat this changing the file name, the functions class, the NPC addAction and obviously the first file and the items it gives. Any problems just let me know. For FETCH_CONST Needs to be changed to __GETC__
