      Donations   09/18/2016

      Hello,
We've added a donation block on the right side. All of those donation goes directly to the developer of Altis Life mod ( currently BoGuu ). None of that money is used to maintain the forum. In the future we might add a donation button to support the forum, but for now we want to encourage the developer because they went through a lot. To discuss this topic - Here

      Sad Day   01/04/2017

Good evening community of Altis Life RPG, Today was a sad day. We learned the hard way that one of the helper was using his status and visibility on the forum to do things i wouldn't imagine.  We were warned about this user in the beginning, we talked about his behavior and he said that they were things of the past. We were fooled.
Unfortunately, he fooled other community members by selling stolen content and impersonating his role as a developer in another community. Here's a remember of one of the rules on our forum, No selling scripts, snippets, or services.   So if anyone come across someone who's selling his services, scripts or whatever, Report them. Especially if it's coming from an Helper, Mod, Admin. No one in the staff should ask for money, we already mention this when we reopened the forum and that rule is here to stay.

We can't be sorry enough for what happen here, for any harm it as caused among other communities, for money that shouldn't been spent and we truly hope this doesn't happen again.

As for the user in question, he is now banned from our forum and discord and we wish to never cross his path again.
If there's anything we can do hit us on Discord or send a message to an admin.
      Thanks, Rozo.

  1. Its pretty straight forward, i use the standard phpmyadmin via browser and it works like a charm. Just a few simple clicks, no technical work really needed unless you're trying to add more integers into a column of a table etc.
  2. The reason that the vehicle is exploding upon taking it out is because its clipping into the building/object near the marker. Try using another kind of marker instead of a system marker use a normal civilian marker and set the var name of marker like how you would do it with a system marker. You can then hold ALT and left click dragging up and down while in 3D mode. I haven't actually tried what i have just said but i remember someone telling me this a while back, test it out yourself. Might work or might not. When i was doing these hospitals on the Australia Map i just placed the spawn markers on the ground cause i was slightly lazy.
  3. You can't just call a hpp file like that. onButtonClick = "[] call life_fnc_money"; -> that won't work, You're trying to call a script from functions.hpp (If you're going to pull a script by clicking the button you need to make sure that its defined in functions.hpp This should work: (closeDialog 0; command will close the previous dialog and then obviously the next command in that statement "createDialog" will then create a dialog thats included in the master interface handler file. (which is pulled from description.ext a pre-defined file by the Arma Engine.) onButtonClick = "closeDialog 0; createDialog ""MY_DIALOG_CLASS_NAME"";"; Then in the hpp file of whatever you're creating will show the interface and also at the same time pull the script needed for the interface to function (Buttons etc.) Heres somewhat an example... class MY_DIALOG_CLASS_NAME { idd = 2900; //Make sure this is a unique number name= "MY_DIALOG_CLASS_NAME"; //This is a somewhat tag so the hpp file can be used. movingEnable = 0; enableSimulation = 1; onLoad = "[] spawn life_fnc_myDialogScript;"; then place "myDialogScript" obviously in functions.hpp under proper tag & directory of file. These are just a few pointers, don't expect to get it working with this little type up i have done.
  4. I have it, i really can't be bothered uploading the scripts. I'm sure you can find the files on native-network and convert them over to 4x yourself. Its straight forward.
  5. The amount of reward (gold bars) / virtual items are multiplied with the total amount of people online. If there is only 1 person online (you) then nothing will be placed into the vault. 5 people and you should start seeing the gold bars.
  6. Do some research. https://github.com/AsYetUntitled/Framework/pull/241/files
  7. I'm not always online, lack of motivation right now. If you add me on steam or join my teamspeak some time i'm sure we can chat. Thanks.
  8. Documents/Arma 3/Missions -> Create a new folder called "MyLeechedMap.MAPNAME" - Change the word MAPNAME to the proper name of the map, and once you have created that folder place the mission.sqm inside there. Go into the editor (Eden) then select the map you want to start editing when it asks. After it loads click on the "Open" top left corner and select the newly created folder you placed in your documents.

  10. Hello everyone, so the kind of audience I'm trying to target here will be mainly Australians or New Zealand. Internationals are welcomed, although ping and latency will be quite bad. Many thoughts have went through my mind as whether i should shutdown my project or try to keep it going. The server is great and stable don't get me wrong but our staff team disbanded which affected playerbase heavily. Now I'm near solo again and its a really crappy feeling, i want someone to trust, someone mature and have the same inspiration as me. To keep some sort of motivational thought up i have been thinking about reverting back to the Australia Map again for that unique category. Not quite sure yet but it will only work if i can get somewhat 10-15 loyal staff members. If anyone that has not grown roots to a community or has a home i offer you XtG Community AU/NZ! Everything a community needs we have including a website / IPS forums / teamspeak & game server. If you're interested in this thread just message me back on this forums or join my teamspeak, link is on my signature.
  11. And you can convert nearly anything to 4.4/5.0 ?
  12. Hey man, great to see another Australian sign up here. I'm Australian myself. I own the XtG Community AU/NZ and recently we've had some unfortunate events with one of our high ranking staff members. Our server reached at 38 players around early April. Slowly died and now its officially died a long with the remaining 7/10 players moving onto a new community we are not affiliated with. I'm a good developer, clean and efficient but a developer is useless if no one wants to play on his server. If you want to get involved with us man i can offer you a spot, I've contemplated of giving up several times this week i kinda have some form of hope reading this thread so defiantly get back to me when you can I'll message you some more details like teamspeak & steam. Yours Sincerely, Elite IV - Owner & Developer of XtG Community AU/NZ
  13. You posted this in the wrong section, it seems like you're asking for help. There is a specific category for this. + You kinda need to post either or both server & client RPT logs. If its a database issue (extDB) then post those logs too. Saying that there is a problem with a "variable" could mean anything.
  14. Nice Thread.
  15. The ones i use on the XtG Community server, that I'm sure you're familiar with. I've ripped them from GTA:IV's gaming repository. They are as good as you're going to get.
