  1. It's been about 5 years since Arma 3 came out, 5 years too early I say. I first played this game on the 23rd of January 2013 and 4 years of fun times, autistic children and futile New Zealanders later I've decided to retire from Arma 3. As the more attentive members of this community will realise, this means I will no longer be providing support any of my scripts. Not that there were many of them, nor were they any good (Sometimes I feel bad for posting them). I've spent enough time around people who for the most part were supportive, but if there's one piece of advice I can offer; Be careful of the ones you trust the most. More than likely they won't steal or delete anything, but rather become too comfortable and start to let themselves go. In that they will have a complete disregard for the people who make it possible (The player base). Act how you want to be treated, be a jerk and you'll be cut down. The reason I'm leaving the Arma scene can be attributed to 3 main points: The labyrinth of convolution when creating content for the engine Content theft and security Pretentious staff and community owners (To all the 4 year olds and abusive server owners: you're a game server owner not POTUS you degenerates.) Most of the staff here know or have heard about the commotion I cause when something gets me on edge. I'm not going to apologise to the people who have crossed me but I do wish them the sincerest 'good luck' I can give, It's not easy for me to say that after what's happened but I say it with honesty. For those who have done what I said before, there will always be someone who is smarter, more able and more motivated than you. I'm not suggesting in any way that I am that person, please don't see this as that. What I'm trying to get across is that you can't be defensive and abusive to everyone you meet. Usually the person means well and are just trying to have a friendly conversation. If you don't take anything away from this post that's fine. However, the people who do are the ones who will succeed. I leave you with this: "It is hard to imagine a more stupid or more dangerous way of making decisions than by putting those decisions in the hands of people who pay no price for being wrong." - Thomas Sowell "We shall never prevent the abuse of power if we are not prepared to limit power in a way which occasionally may prevent its use for desirable purposes." - Friedrich August von Hayek Farewell friends.
  2. We have changed our community name, staff structure and are doing a complete framework overhaul at the moment. You can join the forums here: https://vendetta-x.com. We post updates on our progress on there as development items are completed.
  3. Ahhhhhh, I see. Well I cannot be of much help as its 11:30pm and i'm on my Mac. 1. Arma aint gonna run on this and 2. arma isn't touching this. It's not too hard you will just need to find the coords in the GUI editor or ADC and then add that into the .hpp file of the dialog and then give it an action: onButtonClick = "";
  4. I honest to god don't even know what the topic is about, I just saw toxic's post and commented. Give me 2 secs and ill have a read.
  5. Okay 1st, @SmokeyTheBear have they used any of your 'artwork' in their community? If yes, then they need to remove it or you are able to take legal action through the use of a DMCA takedown sent to their ISP or service provider. That will more than likeley shut down their community because their service provider will either suspend their service or terminate their account. If they aren't using your 'artwork' then as long as you haven't trademarked or registered the name 'Evolution Network' under your name then they have the right to use the name just as much as you do. 2nd, I would suggest to you both that you to decide who gets to use the name as it could hurt both of your community's reputation if one was to go 'rouge'. That's my opinion, do what you want idc. Haha, you're really funny... Kid, grow up seriously. Your pathetic insults are not needed here.
  6. Well. In short, the cunt who started this topic had a go at @Deadlesszombie in another topic and I can't stand arrogant fucks who go on the offensive regarding topics they know nothing about themselves. So when I saw this post by that same guy I decided to tell him what I thought about him. And yeah that's that.
  7. Wow, great advertisement. I hope this reflects how good your server and its content is. Keep up the great work!

    If you want to use their GUID to find their steam profile, all the GUID is, is an md5 hash of their steam UID dont know if that helps you find another way to track your players
  9. @PerfectZ I agree with deadless, you should have a go at either fixing it or buying one off maverick apps
