  2. And that's personal beauty. I am new to this programming the altis life map and would like someone to take away a doubt. I put new helicopters only when I buy them, they give respaw in the middle of nowhere far or look at the key and mark the distance of more than 25 km. my problem is only with the new helicopters the remainder this standard. has some file that I should add them to the respaw in the same location as the others. thanks in advance.

    There's no code to put there, you just put the path to the texture you want or do it in the init.

    Well the way i created it, you wont need to edit the mod files to get this to work, im not a shitty life developer lol. It does a check when you interact with the door on the client, figuring out if you have a key card and if not it wont open the door. Another thing is, the cops and what not will need to spawn with the cards. Some peoples server setups might spawn the cops outside the building not allowing the cops to get inside "purchase" a free key.

    Try: this setObjectTextureGlobal [0,"myPicture.paa"]; or this setObjectTextureGlobal [1,"myPicture.paa"]; In the object's init (replace with your texture path and name).

    If _count doesn't exist, then the DB query probably failed. As @Resonance said, logs are needed. Specifically, the Server RPT and extDB3 logs from when this happens would be useful (please upload them to pastebin and link them here).

    Even easier, v-item you use and it checks for a var you set in the init of the buildings you want to work, then animates the nearest door if it matches or something like that. That way the buildings can be used without having this keycard in other areas.

    the mattaust buildings are modded buildings, it adds in a bunch of buildings from houses to police buildings, that code i gave you is what is used to allow people to open the police and prison building

    I honestly have no idea what a Mattust building is, but im making it built into the framework so its not mod dependent and its universal.

    For a very simple solution, you can just make an item set that on a player when they have the keycard virtual item and have a check if they have the item or something of the sort, would let them open the Mattaust buildings

    That wasn't what i was looking for, i have to let the server know that ALL of the buildings classified as a police building, or a prison to be able to be locked. Thats what im currently working on now.

    there are a few buildings, i can give you the class, but there is a command that you put in the factions side init file that allows that faction to open the buildings, if that would help . player setVariable ["copLevel",1,true];

    ok cool, but I would suggest not pushing out a server too fast. I can tell you from experience it's not great. you need to fix duping, bugs that come with scripts etc. in saying that I hope all goes well Good Luck! also, I can't seem to find your server.

    Yea we would like it to be able to be used by all factions and that it is a dropable. i believe the framework that we are using 5.0 as we are using 5.0 scripts.
